Hosting a Meet and Greet

One of the easiest (and most fun!) ways to help a campaign is to host a meet and greet.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Organize a few people  interested in hosting a meet and greet.

  2. Send a follow-up email with all the information you need to get started.

  3. Choose from available dates on our calendar.

  4. Invite your friends and neighbors to attend — aim for at least 10 people, but the more the merrier!

  5. Keep track of RSVPs as the invite list gets finalized.

  6. On the day of the meet and greet: Throw together a few snacks

  7. Welcome your guests as they arrive.

  8. Once everyone has mingled, have the candidate say a few words encouraging people to ask questions.

  9. Ask for donations in support of the campaign.

  10. Kick everyone out at the event end time — and then relax with the knowledge that you have done an excellent job!
